Go green, breathe clean.
Let us nurture nature to have a nurturing future.
Let us nurture nature to have a nurturing future.
The EnviroDev Access (EDAC) Cameroon plays a singular role in leading environmental protection and restoration strategies in Cameroon, producing technical guidelines and tools to protect and restore our environment, and acting as a country-level convener with an unparalleled level of trust.
The crises of the 21st century, including COVID-19, have made clear both the inequity of access to effective and affordable living standards and the indispensable environmental protection and restoration roles of EnviroDev Access (EDAC) Cameroon.
Yet EnviroDev Access (EDAC) Cameroon has the resources to fulfill its mandate. And, beyond funding, its vision cannot be achieved by the public sector alone. EnviroDev Access (EDAC) Cameroon was created as an independent Non Governmental Organisation with its mission: promote good environmental practices / governance, restore the environmental, keep the world safe, and serve the vulnerable.
We've been fighting for people and planet for 20 years, and we couldn't have done it without you.
From getting drastic on plastic to fighting climate change, we want to change the world for good. It's time to make a difference.
Everyone has the right to live a happy, healthy and prosperous life. Health is both a human right and a critical contribution to societal well being, economic growth and peace.
EnviroDev Access (EDAC) Cameroon exists to protect and restore our environment, to achieve its vision of a world in which all people attain the highest level of living standards in a healthy environment, and its mission is to promote good environmental practices, keep the world safe, and serve the vulnerable. It does so by partnering with diverse actors, including businesses, philanthropists, and the general public.
EnviroDev Access (EDAC) Cameroon strategy 2023-2035 outlines how the Organisation will support Environmental Protection endeavours in critical areas that are ripe for innovation and are potential positive catalysts for improved living standards.
By marshaling new resources from philanthropists, businesses, and individuals, and working in tandem with EnviroDev Access (EDAC) Cameroon, the organisation is committed to:
Facilitating connections between its key stakeholders and the high-impact lifesaving projects of environmental protection and restoration. Acting as a catalyst — enabling philanthropists, businesses, and the general public to have a positive impact on public health through modern environmental protection strategies.
The five major impacts humans have on the environment include deforestation, global warming, overharvesting, pollution, and agriculture. These have contributed to vast species extinctions, incremental and continuous rises in the sea level, and record setting hot temperatures in the earth's greenhouse atmosphere.
Human activities that affect the ecosystem include activities that alter natural habitats. These include overharvesting, deforestation, global warming, pollution, agriculture, building new cities and dams, and overpopulation. Humans impact the environment in a negative way when the activities do not take into consideration the impact on the world's natural ecosystem. Human activities can endanger species, but humans can also protect endangered species and preserve wildlife. Humans can produce trash and oil spills, but they can also come up with new ways to clean the ocean in beneficial ways. Human activities can cause deforestation, but in turn, they can come up with new types of agriculture that takes up less space, but produces more green.
We are a Non Governmental Organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those in need. Join us in making a difference today!
